Running 1:40:55 [3] 13.0 mi (7:46 / mi)
slept:8.0 shoes: Saucony Excursion

After yesterday's session, I had to take it easy this morning, but obviously felt tired and weary throughout. Ran decently n pleased to have completed it - longest run for a while.

Running 29:00 [3] 4.0 mi (7:15 / mi)
slept:6.0 shoes: Asics Kayano 2

Decent paced morning run around town... ankle still feels tender and vulnerable on turns/twists so running straight is best!
5 PM

Running warm up/down 24:00 [2] 3.0 mi (8:00 / mi)

Steady pace plus 2 x 20 secs strides over to top of Witchford Road and then easy back afterwards.

Running intervals 23:00 [5] 4.0 mi (5:45 / mi)

4 x 5 minutes (60 secs recovery) interval session along Witchford Road getting from Lancs Way roundabout to the garage/pub (odds) n then back (evens)... tough session n aimed for 10K pace or thereabouts. Need a regular dose of these, I'm afraid.

Note
slept:7.0 (injured) (rest day)

Had a rest day - if you can call trapesing a couple of miles around Whipsnade Zoo a resty... plus i was using the guide map, so could it be called O training?

Off-road running 29:20 [3] 4.0 mi (7:20 / mi)
slept:7.5 (injured) shoes: Saucony Excursion

Easy run down to Brand - 2 laps n back. Felt ok, although ankle was as sore as yesterday morning so decided to avoid a second session...

Off-road running 29:30 [3] 4.0 mi (7:23 / mi)
slept:9.0 (injured) shoes: Saucony Excursion

Down to Brand for a couple of laps, then to Tesco n back up thru Kings. Felt much better generally though ankle was hurting more due to a reduction in the swelling!

Running 31:45 [2] 4.0 mi (7:56 / mi)
slept:5.0 (injured) shoes: Asics Kayano 2

Up early to get out to that there London.... ankle still swollen so mobility affected, but no pain, which is good.

Treadmill Running 33:00 [3] 4.0 mi (8:15 / mi)
slept:7.0 (injured) shoes: Adidas Response

Decided to risk it and felt fine - pace got up to 7.30 on 1.5%. Enjoyed it n helped by being able to watch some of 'Zulu'.
