Off-road running warm up/down 23:30 [1] 2.8 mi (8:24 / mi)
slept:5.0 shoes: Intergrator 2

Warm up and down in the autumn sun at Ickworth.

Orienteering race 52:30 [4] *** 9.7 km (5:25 / km) +90m 5:10 / km
spiked:21/23c shoes: Intergrator 2

Ickworth Park South District Event: first proper (i.e. non-urban) orienteering event since the Scottish. Had felt tired (only 5hrs sleep) but really enjoyed it once out. Apart from part of the opening leg and the final 2 legs, the whole course was in the southern woods which were fairly open apart from minor brashings and some still alive nettles. Ran mostly straight for each leg and was pretty clean. Struggled with fitness, but pleased overall.
