Off-road running 32:00 [2] 4.0 mi (8:00 / mi)

Sore legs from yesterday... plus spent day in London - British Museum. Pretty good.

Thursday Oct 29, 2009 #

Off-road running 30:05 [3] 4.0 mi (7:31 / mi)
slept:7.5 shoes: Nike Air Pegasus

Still feeling tired and drained from the weekend. Ran easy and felt weary: KS, GC and CH.

Football 1:00:00 [3]

Drove down to Amherst Field. Lovely session with lots of shuttles and turns designed to improve mobility and lower leg strengh. Played until the light went out.

Off-road running warm up/down 16:00 [2] 2.0 mi (8:00 / mi)

Easy running before and after football.

Wednesday Oct 28, 2009 #

Note
slept:6.5 (rest day)

Awake early (no reason apart from desire to write a magazine article!) and still felt very tired n leg sore from the weekend so one more day wont harm me. Exciting plans in head.

Tuesday Oct 27, 2009 #

Note
slept:9.0 (rest day)

Felt tired from the weekend's exertions so took it easy and watched 'The Mist' - excellent low-budget horror.

Walking hills 5:20:00 [3] ** 10.0 mi (32:00 / mi) +940m 24:46 / mi

Yonked on own from farm to end of Lyn Ogwen, joined by two colleagues, straight up Pen yr Ole Wen (what a scramble!), Carnedd Dafydd, Carnedd Llewelyn and then I descended rapidly back to the farm (via the interesting mini-Striding Edge that is Bwlch Eryl Farchog). Jogged last 2k. Sweet. Showered and on road within 25 mins for the 4.5 hour drive back to Cambs.
