Note
slept:8.0 (rest day)

Decided to pull a resty... sore legs from yesterday, generally tired and had 6 sets of reports to sign. Managed 5 sets watching Glasto.

Off-road running warm up/down 18:00 [1] 2.0 mi (9:00 / mi)
slept:7.0 shoes: Integrator

Warm up and down at Club Champs... pretty tired and hot conditions.

Orienteering race 1:00:01 [4] *** 8.3 km (7:14 / km) +165m 6:35 / km
spiked:15/18c shoes: Integrator

Club Champs... pretty clean run and beat the 21s to claim the title - made an aiming-off error and a couple of 'sleepy' misses but otherwise ok. Terrain was surprisingly nice when you consider the amount of green on the map and the time of the year. The biggest problem was the heat - very draining beyond 30 mins.

Swimming 22:00 [4] 0.55 km (40:00 / km)
slept:6.0

Awake early even though in bed late watching the news unfold.... Mind, I'm with Jarvis on this one! Following Oberfuhrer Danzey's orders, I decided to use the free lunchtime swim option and suffered. Also endured indignity of being burnt up by a very lithe 49 year old woman... Ugh! Still, i felt suitably exhausted and glowing at end so cant be all bad.... 22 lengths - 4 breast, 4 crawl, 4 breast, 4 legs only, 2 breast, 2 crawl, 2 breast.

slept:8.0 (rest day)

Woke exhausted at 8; hectic day at Pig Central, declined another tv interview, couldnt be arsed to train so had an Oreo McFlurry instead, walked in forest for an hour and Helen continued her Masterplan to murder my legs. If she wasnt so lovely, i'd quit her now!

Walking 45:00 [1] 2.0 mi (22:30 / mi)

Decided to put this in... walk in Epping Forest and ran at a couple of points so guess it counts.

Running 30:05 [2] 4.0 mi (7:31 / mi)
slept:6.8 shoes: Adidas Response

Very tired again. Ran to College but was very lethargic. Pig Bug mularky continues - now been interviewed for Look East and they want a live-feed!

Running 27:00 [3] 4.0 mi (6:45 / mi)
shoes: Adidas Response

More fame, fame, fatal fame... interviewed live on Look East at the end of another hectic day. Bring back the students! Ran back n felt very tired but at least did another run. Goodbye World Selections...

Note
slept:6.5 (rest day)

Awake in night worrying about Pig Bug stuff... and then felt shattered during day. Napped when Murray was playing and then couldnt be bothered to train in spite of gorgeous summer's evening.

Note
slept:8.0

What a day! Had hoped for a quieter day but then outbreak of Pig Bug has blown that out the water.... Sure that sore throat is getting worse as well!

Running 38:30 [3] 5.5 mi (7:00 / mi)
shoes: Adidas Response

Got home just in time to hear name mentioned on BBC East News and read name in lights on Ceefax... Ahhh - the price of fame. Felt shit after hectic day but managed to get out along river and into town.
