Monday Dec 31, 2012 #

11 AM

Fitness training 50:00 [4]
slept:7.0 (injured) shoes: Nike Structure 14 Pair 2

Warmed up with 5 mins on bike; 30 mins (Rolling Hills) on XT on Level 10; 40 x leg press; 40 x leg extension; 5 mins on bike.
5 PM

Note

2012 - not a vintage year. Focused on running for first few months and should be reasonably pleased with the 79 mins at Cambridge. The injury I picked up there prevented anything happening in Spring and then work dominated the Summer. Was starting to pick up fitness in O-ing until the Lyme's took its effect; cleared up from there and then hamstrings and now calves reappeared as injuies. Grrr.

Aims for 2013 - JK and the various British champs (plus BUCS and Varsity!); followed by 6-Days in the summer and maybe some running races next Autumn.

Usual hammy stiffness which gradually eased but at 2.5m my tendons went... Similar to feeling after the Cambridge Half. Hobbled home.... Look bad enough for a family to stop and ask me if i was ok! Gutted....
