Quiet day at home with the boy - took him out for early evening stroll to the Rec.

One week into the new regime/diet and delighted to have lost 2.8kg. I feel so much more energyful, positive and alive. Hunger pains of earlier in the week are abating and I feel genuinely sated after the day, without the bloating etc. Will modify going forward and keep to the broad system and it's palpably working, with occasional weekend treats.

Pleasing first outing at the LOC Back to O event at Bell Wood (nr Lowick Bridge) - lovely decid wood whihc was fairly runnable. Fairly smooth, but a couple of lines were off and not sure I chose the best route to #8. However, got round in one piece and HR fairly sensible too.

First MAF session - dropped off at souther tip of Lancaster: warmed up 15 mins (at least) and then mostly jogged through Willi Park and back via the prison and Grimshaw Lane. Warmed down from Caton Rd to home. Really pleased with how I felt, what the HR did and how it went: next time will separate out the MAF section.
