Fantastic day of O training - started on Great Tower, then to Gummers How/Blakeholme and finally eastern part of Bigland... struggled with the running (& walked loads). Okay navigation but need reading magnification for 1:10 now. With Cocoa who was amazing... clear blue skies & warm too. Exhausted by the end.

LOC Classic Series - Holme Fell: lovely evening but found it hard - physically and a little technically too. Just struggled to get pace uphill and across terrain, Lots of work to do - only one major miss (no 5 - 2 mins or so).

SMOC Regional at Salcey Forest: 47.19 for the 6.1K (excluding the timed crossings). As expected the general rule of avoiding forests between the A1 and M1 (south of the Mids) was upheld today. Mostly light green forest with head high thorns that was also pretty unpredictable in terms of runnability. Never really easy and legs tightened on the track sections too. However, was fairly clean - only a few hiccups and wobbles, mostly off-line in the green stuff. Struggled again physically - but that's due to the lack of intense or terrain training.
