Night-O (Harvester, Bordon Heaths) 1:33:40 [4] 13.3 km (7:03 / km) +230m 6:29 / km
ahr:166 max:193 shoes: inov8 oroc 280

Who ever invented this event has mental problems. Didn't sleep at all before because my sleeping bag kept making me sneeze and got about an hour or two after :( didn't really get into the swing of night-o until the third control and had already lost quite a bit of time by then. After that I got much cleaner, apart from the bingo controls which weren't as fun. Had caught up dan hartman on the way to 1 and I think i got ahead of him on 11 but messed 13 up quite bad because I had absolutely no idea how they had managed to map paths and open with copses :s this meant i had absolutely no idea what my attackpoint looked like and I think I was stood at it for a minute deciding if it was it before coming to the conclusion it wasn't. There was no way I was relocating on the path network so went to find a pond. Lost 5 minutes at that control. After that it was okay but startin to want breakfast. On the way to 16 I was navigating as if I was on the parrellel path, no idea why, so none of it made sense untill I realised. Lost quite a lot of time I wouldn't have lost during the day over the whole course because I would have been able to see what I was doing. Even at night though I maybe should have done 80

Note
slept:12.0

Slept near to 12 hours so maybe I was exhausted or ill even though I didn't feel either. Hopefully I'll be back to normal by the weekend
5 PM

Orienteering (Halkyn ) 39:50 [4] 4.83 km (8:15 / km) +70m 7:41 / km
ahr:142 shoes: Adidas Swoops Yellow

Putting out controls at dee training in halkyn

Orienteering race (Halkyn) 19:48 [5] 3.34 km (5:56 / km) +50m 5:31 / km
ahr:169 shoes: Adidas Swoops Yellow

The race exercise on the training. Went out too fast because I knew where all the controls were and at some point couldn't keep up mentally and starting navigating as if I was going from 8-9 from 7. Slowed down after this and was much better

Orienteering 6:15 [4] 1.19 km (5:15 / km)
shoes: Adidas Swoops Yellow

Orienteering 13:08 [4] 1.94 km (6:46 / km) +50m 6:00 / km
ahr:151 shoes: Adidas Swoops Yellow

Collecting controls. Probably ran too much today as I'm trying to recover but it had to get done. Hardly any was at high intensity so most of it was like a recovery run in terrain

Running intervals 32:06 [3] 6.05 km (5:18 / km)
ahr:161 shoes: asics cumulus

Legs were so empty again :S managed to do one and a half reps before all I could do was jog :( what is wrong with me? Don't know if I should take more rest or train through it :/ don't think it's diet or anything because that hasn't changed that much so maybe stress? I don't feel ill or anything
