Yoga 50:00 [1]

Hips, hips, hips.

The outside of my right calf is apparently tighter than my left. We used straps to stretch outstretched legs (one at a time) outboard of the centerline/pelvis and then inboard (across the body as we were on our backs). When other people were feeling it in their outer thighs, I felt it in my calves.

Note

Given the rainy weather (light showers but fairly continuous) and my continuing cold, I bagged running at the DVOA event today and instead helped Nancy and Ralph with map handout snd results calculations. It was a Poker O and Nancy had a record sheet all prepared with various potential hands and a place to record name, total time, and controls visited. 12 people found all 20 controls; at least 2 and maybe 3 found the highest value "hand," the royal flush.

I stayed warm and had fun helping.

West Hopewell, and back by way of Rolling Ridge-Brittany Hill-Cutly Horse. Intermittent drizzle picked up to full-fledged showers about 750 meters from home so I picked up the pace despite not liking to run on pavement. Temp about 55 to start, 50 when I finished, but it felt colder with the breeze and dampness. Would've been nicer if I'd gone out an hour earlier.

Walked a short distance within the development at the beginning with a neighbor who goes my pace. She stays mostly in the community but says she'll go 5 miles (several loops necessary to get that distance) sometimes.
