Orienteering training (control setting) 24:02 [3] *** 3.1 km (7:45 / km) +100m 6:41 / km
shoes: VJ Supra

Control setting for the last training of the weekend, some kind of trail-O for healthy people (with line-O running sections in between). Went control setting with my brother, so this was some kind of intervall training:
him jogging to the next control meant reasonably fast running for me, then waiting and looking if all controls are visible while he hanged them, then the next faster part,...
Time's just for the running sections. Where out in the forest for nearly an hour.

Note

And the next concert. Perfect weekend, can I have the same next week please ;)

Orienteering training (control setting) 1:03:30 [2] **** 5.25 km (12:06 / km) +140m 10:40 / km
shoes: VJ Supra

Setting controls for a youth training at a weekend training camp.
The map was a bit old and in one place it was very difficult to find a somewhat right location to set the control. Spend more then 10 min. there to decide where to put control.

Orienteering training 36:22 [3] *** 3.4 km (10:42 / km) +90m 9:27 / km
shoes: VJ Supra

Control picking for another part of the course at the training camp.

Orienteering training (control setting) 7:19 [3] *** 1.0 km (7:19 / km) +10m 6:58 / km
shoes: Adidas Trail Response

And some more control setting, this time for part of a park sprint

Orienteering training (control picking) 6:29 [3] 1.0 km (6:29 / km) +10m 6:10 / km
shoes: Adidas Trail Response

Picking up the controls in a hurry, cause everyone longed to go back to a hot shower and a swim...

Note

And then hop in the car, a snack at subways, half an hour drive to Balingen and a concert of my all-time-favourite live musician: Punk legend T.V. Smith.
Life at it's best: a long day out in the forest and then this - could it get any better?
