Walked to repair shop to pick up the O'Mobile. Had discovered after the one broke off last week while putting air in the tire, luckily at a repair place when the tire went flat, that 3 of 4 of the valves had visible cracks, barely hanging on. Thus the rental car yesterday. So, replaced all four valves and sensors to the tune of just under $600. Ah, the price one pays to have an electronic read out of what the tire pressure is...

As for the walking part, my left knee and lower leg seem to be tracking funny, like it isn't supporting me well. Will need to keep an eye on that. My right knee already hurts when I stand up and put my full weight on it, full weight likely contributing to my joint ailments.

I was going to swim, but I was feeling a bit banged up from yesterday's, especially through the torso, neck and shoulders, so I passed on the pool.

So many ups and downs today, but the only thing that really mattered was that Lailah wanted Grammy time for her 4th birthday, and after overcoming a few hurdles, I was able to make it happen. Nothing else really matters.

Swimming (80 laps) 49:29 [1] 1.14 mi (43:24 / mi)

First time to 80 since September 23 (4857), a fair bit slower than the fastest on July 3 (4551), but much better than the original time to 80 on January 2, 2014 (5623).

Swam with purpose, hoping not to share a lane, and I didn't, but it was close. Felt good, though with a bit of asthma coughing. Will need to use the inhaler before swimming again if this keeps up.
