Misc 1:00:00 [3] 2.0 mi (30:00 / mi)
slept:5.0 weight:173lbs shoes: Saucony 7 - Banana 1

Poor sleep last night - probably wondering if I'll remember everything for this weekend in Florida...
Some warm up running & stretching. No JJ today - not one. But plenty of pushups instead. Lots of pushups - total about 200 broken up with other things. Probably did about 1/2 regular, the rest on my knees (which I hate more than regular ones - don't ask me why). Two rangers runs with group 1 - each ~1 mile (8:20 & 8:30). Only 3 of us - guess that 5 mile run they did yesterday did them in...
Lots of other stuff - session was hard & fast, just like I like it.

Note

Off to Florida in the morning, so I'll be skipping Boot Camp - I considered going for a little while but decided I didn't want to drive Roger over the edge. Class at 6, flight at 7:55, airport ~15 minutes during rush hour. I could have gone for ~25 minutes...but he wouldn't have seen it that way.
I WAS the only person with perfect attendance this year, which as a major "brown noser", I was very proud of!! Apparently, my perfect attendance in January qualifies me for the T-shirt which says "Die Hard" on the back. I think I'll celebrate by bringing donuts on Monday. :)

Misc 20:00 [1]
slept:7.0 weight:174lbs shoes: Saucony 7 - Banana 2

Slept solid last night for 6 hours, then 1 more for 7. WooHoo!! .4 mile warm up jog, stretching, JJ, Burpess, Body Shapers, and then off for a long run. Some leg lifts when we got back.

Running (Boot Camp) 41:10 [3] 4.1 mi (10:02 / mi)
shoes: Saucony 7 - Banana 2

Just starting to drizzle when we started out. Instructor suggested the bike trail, which is fine with me as long as I am not alone in the dark. And after running last night, I was happy to turn it down just a small amount and run with Michael Ann... So, 2110 and back in 1900. Splits were 514 512 455 450 913 (the same "short" mile from yesterday...).

Misc 13:50 [1]

50 situps, 50 leg lifts x 4 - not getting enough at BC. Plus my Italian flag needed a little work. :)

Misc (Inside) 55:00 [2]
slept:6.0 weight:176lbs shoes: Saucony 7 - Banana 1

Slow start to session since the rec center employee was late opening up...
Stretching, 80 jumping jacks (JJ), Mountain Climbers (MC). Calf raises alternating w/ Jumping Rope x 3 sets. JJ alternating w/ MC x 3 sets. Squats alternating with pulsing squats x 3 sets. Running around the rec center inclunding the stairs twice per lap - 5 laps. Reverse crunches alternating w/ leg raises.

Running 1:00:22 [3] 6.4 mi (9:26 / mi)
shoes: Saucony 7 - Banana 1

After work, after a nap - from home, through the high school grounds to George Mason Drive. From GM out to Bluemont Park on the lower than upper trail. Back on the upper trail to Barcroft. Along Walter Reed, up the hill to home. Good run. Temp said 50 but with slight breeze, it felt cooler. Splits were 429 428 427 and a mile @ 825 helped by two long stoplight breaks which gave me renewed energy after each one. Either that, or the mile mark is misplaced...
Wore my lightest tights and was comfortable temperature wise. But the tights were so loose they hung like elephant skin. I guess I stretched them out during my really fat days. I have retired them. The seat was almost threadbare anyway.
Have ordered 4 new pairs from InSport and will tell my husband that it is George's fault.

Walking warm up/down 3:00 [1]

Misc 1:00:00 [2] 1.2 mi (50:00 / mi)
slept:7.0 weight:177lbs shoes: Saucony 7 - Banana 1

With temps at 30 F, and the rec center closed for the holiday, only 4 die hards showed up this morning. I dressed properly in midweight tights and two layers on top. Even wore my hat & gloves the whole class.
Band work on triceps, etc. Ran a mile. Crunches, flutter kicks, and stuff like that. Time went fairly quickly, though class was nothing special.
