A lot of first for this course: my Yellow Muddies had their first run and earned their name, first time running with my GoPro, first time Orienteering in 2012. I wore too much on the course and became uncomfortably hot halfway to control 4, but cooled off on the way to 5.

Orienteering 18:06 [4] * 3.0 km (6:02 / km)
ahr:185 max:192 spiked:4/5c rhr:60 slept:6.0 weight:175lbs shoes: Yellow Muddies

A pleasant course. Charlie and I both ran with our GoPros so that we could watch our course on two adjacent screens after the course. I had gone to points 1 and 3 on that mornings course. I didn't spike 2. Reading the clue descriptions 'bottom of stairs' lead me below the cliff/wall, but I could not read close enough to determine where the stairs were relative to the wall. Lost 3 seconds. Left knee area hurt beginning en route to 5 and was stiff for about 30 mins after the course and still was stiff later that evening (2000) when going up or down a steep slope or steps.
