Edinburgh City Race
A new part of the city for me. Good fun and quite a few tricky legs. Trying not to run too hard as this was the longest my calf had done for a month. Seem to have survived, but some rollering required this evening. Apparently ran past the older teenager (and she has the less than flattering photos to prove it) without seeing her. Liked the map scale switch, Dean Village is much more understandable at 1:2,000
Ice route again - due to ice. Start with a walk/slither to the gritted roads, then slowly in through the fog.
Glutes reminding me about yesterday's S&C session.

Variation of the ice route home - still don't trust the back roads to spring a slippery surprise.
Slow. Ice route as -4C at home. Start with a walk, hideous queues on Drymen Rd as Milngavie rd suffering from a 36" water main incident. A couple of unexpected ice slicks on Maryhill Rd to add to the excitement. Beautiful looking morning.
