Orienteering race 1:22:52 [3] 8.1 km (10:14 / km) +330m 8:30 / km

British Champs M50 7th place
Big Jon showed how it could be done in 69:42
Dropped ~3.5 minutes at 5 - slightly off line then dragged further off by 2m unmapped boulder. GPS traces seem to show boulder higher than on the map but if I'd been on line....
Dropped another3+ minutes at 17 where again drifted off line and couldn't work out what was going on. Didn't enjoy the hack from there to the finish.

Orienteering race 44:52 [3]

Scottish Relays
First leg, and doing the same course as the big boys. Entertaining mayhem as all classes apart from the very young start at once. Had to overtake Lindsay on the way to #1 and again to #2 as I'd misread the code for #1 and stood around like the idiot I was as various people punched it.
Occasionally confused by map in far west, and trying to work out which way to do the phi loop. I like the idea of having the control codes on the map, but it can make it very busy looking.
