Evening race round Houston
Quite a lot of eyeballs out running, with an excursion into the grot at 5. Good fun, and I didn't get all the route choices right. Thoroughly beaten by Simon, and Lindsay got a couple of splits faster than me too!

Northern (English) Champs Gummers How and Blakkeholme
Really fun day out with a lot of gorgeous terrain. Didn't exactly cover myself in glory, with about 5 minutes of mistakes including a ridiculous 90 degree and crossing the wrong fence error. Really like this sort of orienteering - should do more of it. Surprised to be second really old man on the course to Tim Tett (with Dave Peel being in a younger age class) Lots of M18s and A W21 also well ahead.
