Terry's Pollock race. Got caught out by the line going from 15 to 19 so did 19,18,17 before realising so just continued to 16 and then 20 onwards. Stopped at the end to help teenage girls out of the mud and retrieve their shoes.

Out with the juniors, their session was 2*6*200 with 1 minute recovery. I tagged along at the back shouting encouragement (and because I couldn't go much faster). Tired.

JK Relay M120+
First leg, started with the Men Open on the same course. Very busy and exciting. Lots of people to chase. A couple of wobbles early on, possibly 90s in total, otherwise quite clean but tiring towards the end. Murray Strain went round a similar course almost 8 minutes faster!

JK day3
This was exciting proper hard-core orienteering. Wind howled, mist came down, cagouls as well as whistles compulsory.
Almost all of the tricky part of the course was done in the mist - really pleased that I had only the one mist related wobble at 10 where I lost 3 minutes. Another minute dropped at 12 through daftness.
Later runners had the advantage of being able to see where they were going, with extra illumination from the occasional lightning strike.
Still 10 minutes off the pace but hard to compare what I might have done (although 7 minutes faster would be pushing credibility)
