orienteering race 1:15:55 [5] ***** 6.8 km (11:10 / km) +210m 9:40 / km
spiked:17/22c shoes: VJ Twisters

final 6 days race, nowarm up, to knackered after the weeks work and a late night,heather killed me, walked way to much, not fully concentrating on race either in all honesty, still got around, very slowly.

30th overall which was really disappointing, areas bit to complex, need to do some work on that, sodding north east, bring on speyside

good run at barry buddon, was a bit to slow till about 10/11 then managed to pick up the past, fitness showing but reckon i would of been much quicker if i'd had a later start being 2nd in the place hadnt tracked up and when walked round later there were roads to each control!! Still really pleased wit navigation no real meck ups

rerally enjoyed my run, day 4, thought i'd done quite well but when i look back made loads of little mistakes on quite a few controls mayb about 10 mins added all up, also managed to get stuck in the green on the long leg, lost 4 mins here.

sprint race around scone palace, didnt help tht i spent afternnon in the palace grounds so mjust ended up thinkin i knew where i was going then getting completeley lost, made loads of bearing erros of around 90 degrees, the small scale through me as well. Still good hard run

brutally physical course in Tullocholsk, did reasonable in the wood, slow but went out with the aim of just orienteering well after the last 2 races, few little mistakes in the circle but satisfying enough, got knackered on rest of course, only other control messed up was 8 after misreading the contours, mayb 13.

awful 2nd day, gave up on second part completely knackered and couldn't run in the bracken. Really messed up 2, 5, 9 and 16, just tried old orienteering macro technique but kept losing confidence on route to the control and trying to relocate myself thinking i'd overshot or summa stupid

bad run for the first day,hadn't orienteered properly for a month nd it really showed loads of little mistakes and the course was just to physical, also really screwed up 6, decided to relocate when i was about 50m away due to some windblow between me nd control nd ran off few hundred metres.
