Black Course at Burbage

Very enjoyable. Technically could have been alot better but just pleased that I was running alot better than the week before at Hambledon.

Tricky leg to 1, but took it steady and spike it but hadn't properly chosen route to 2 and lost a few seconds heading out of 1. Nice route up to 3 but then minced around rocks before finding the correct one (~45s). Went straight to 4, was L around the felled area better?

Fairly stright, just right of straight on the long leg to 8 where gave predomianntly good running and I think about optimal bar where I ended up off path in the marshed about half way and lost the path just after the fence crossing (~30s). Attacked 11 a bit early (~20s). I think I would hae been much better climbing earlier to 12 as I was in some pretty deep dead bracken for a while. By far the bigger and frustrating mistake came on 15. Poor bearing from 14, parallel error on rock detail / spur / shallow valley coming down the hill and veered in to 16. The continued to 17 before realising what I'd done and headed back to 15 (~3:45) and still lost some second coming back for 16.

Lost a few second leaving the path for 18 too early and about 45s on the second control on the 1:2k map in the boulder maze but the rest of the maze was mainly fine.

Easy arund the rez. Was planning on half hour but felt really light headed and dizzy. Not sure what was going on; pace massively dropped in the last 1km and not sure why.
