orienteering race 47:33 [4] 4.2 km (11:19 / km) +160m 9:31 / km

Middle at NAOC. I did not make any mistake in the rocks at the beginning but my route choice to 2 was maybe not the fastest. Left some time on 6 running too far and slwed down too much after the spectator area in the open hills. Ran into Aby and Charlotte and kept close to them in the second half. Fun course.

orienteering 45:33 [4] 5.5 km (8:17 / km) +150m 7:17 / km

Thomass event at the Nordic trails in Kimberley. I felt like a horse in a horse race, so many fast people around me. Had trouble to make it up the crazy hill and did not feel motivated for it. Came third of the W Elite. It was difficult to decide what to skip.

orienteering 30:00 [1] 2.0 km (15:00 / km)

Jogging around the model map shadowed by Magnus. I really like his maps, maybe he should continue mapping.

Had to run fast to beat a couple from Norway. We won a caramel apple.

hiking 2:00:00 [3] 3.0 km (40:00 / km) +900m 16:00 / km

Hike towards Fisher Peak in the Rockies above Cranbrook. We could not find the access road (wrong direction from the internet) for a while and did not have time and equipment to go all the way up, but made it pretty far into a nice basin with ponds and snow around - elevation 2200 m. The trail ends here.Pretty steep! Good training in the heat.Beautiful waterfall up there.

hiking 1:30:00 [2] 3.0 km (30:00 / km)

Hike down from Fisher Peak approach. I always find more difficult to hike down than up. Some bolder fields very difficult to hike down in runners.
