Warming up on the Model map. Tough running in the sand. Not unlike Manitoba.

Hot but enjoyable race. Lost 2 minutes on a particularly tricky first control. Was about halfway there when the extensive trail network didn`t line up anymore. Hopefully it won't happen again. Didn't have any other large errors on the rest of the course. Could have maybe saved another minute from hesitations and the occasionaly unforseen uncrossable thicket suddenly materialising in the depression in front of me.

Sloppy orienteering but nevertheless, quite fast given the wet forest. Didn't spend much time reading the map. Good fast run though.

North of Kanata Lakes to the Department of Defense then a tour of Kanata, some mapping and then a tour of South Kanata, and then back via Timm Rd. Tired now.

Running 30:00 [1] 5.0 km (6:00 / km)
shoes: Asics Gel-1150

Light run to warm up the legs enough to stretch.
