Got dropped in Little Town and headed up Hindscarth (which took quite a while nearly an hour) over to Dale Head where I passed about 12 DoE groups so obvously couldn't stop and rest. Then High Spy and down the ridge towards Cat Bells then dropped down the hill just before it to meet Matt at the Car.
Really nice day and was really good to actually get moving on the hills rather than plodding along walking.

Walking 3:30:00 [1]

Up Dale Head and back from Borrowdale Matt went a bit quicker on the way up this time but was horrendously slow on the way down so this delayed getting to the pub a bit.

Walking 6:00:00 [1]

A very slow walk up Bowfell and then Scarfell then back down via Angle Tarn to wear in new issue boots. Would have like gone a lot quicker if the guy I was with had not been a bit unfit and also started getting blisters in the first hour. Very nice day for it though and I managed to get quite a lot of sun burn.
