JK trophy - 1st leg
Didn't make the best of starts, getting badly bogged down in some grim brambles trying to go direct to #2. I had an inkling we were getting pushed too far left but couldn't/didn't correct, partly swayed by trying to hang on to Oli Johnson's coat tails just ahead.
Found the woods generally tough going and it was a relief to get out into the open. No real problems to speak of and although I started to get tired I tried to put the hammer down after the spectator and came back in a decent position.
Good runs from Alex and Ben took us up to 14th, another good relay result.
