Nice town and race. Hamstrings started to feel tight at about halfway, probably a bit tired still from the jk. Couple of route choice mistakes, not sure how I missed the better route to #11 but #14 was tricky to spot

Kimpton/codicote loop. Nice to do something different after a few months of running. Felt quite fit but don't have the cycling muscles at all - nice low heart rate yet I'd have struggled to go a great deal faster.

Note
(rest day)

I was really hoping for a decent JK. The last few have not suited me physically whereas this one did, and after the first few months getting used to life with lily may I've done a good amount of training.
The sprint is always tough as I haven't really done any since the summer. But 37th for me overall is a good result, and I was definitely pleased.
Couple of things to learn. The mistakes towards the end of a sprint race have happened before, and I think it's about concentrating to the end rather than getting distracted by the finish. Don't think I was so far into the red that I couldn't cope. And I felt physically I could go a bit quicker on the middle/relay (less so the classic), but only if my technique holds up. I think that would need some O training at a much faster pace.
For now though, now that I'm in a decent place physically I've entered Valencia marathon and will try to push on for the next few months...
