Terrain running 1:56:00 [2] 21.0 km (5:31 / km) +280m 5:11 / km
shoes: inov8 roclite 243 (ii)

Club run with Ammon, Andy and graham.
Most of the ashridge boundary run, but had to miss ivinghoe beacon to get home on time. Steady pace trying to stay off the edges of paths. Felt stronger through mud and veg than I have done in a while.
Despite getting up to run a terrain half at 7am, I was still comfortably the wimpiest in the group, two of them having run the 15miled to the trail from home starting at 4:45! Crackers but they are good ultra runners.

Nice run, lots of controls on a 1;7,500 map so you had to keep on top of things. Occasionally felt a bit heavy in the legs but pretty good overall.

Note
(rest day)

Really enjoyed those races, both very tough but satisfying. I was well out of my comfort zone and will have got a good training effect technically and physically.
I will always be a bit out of my depth physically on these areas living down south, but hopefully will find this year's jk a bit more to my liking. Just need to fit in a few big long runs and really focus on refuelling.
