Road Run (leiden half) 1:38:10 [3] 21.18 km (4:38 / km)
ahr:171 max:193 shoes: Asics gel nimbus 14 grey

The best organised road run def. Wasn't going to do this run but after deciding to skip O felt guilty missing a race so close to home and enjoyed the past 2 yrs .Didn't regret it!Only decided to go after shower and seeing could make it Litteraly had a triathlon consisting of shower, check watch and saw I might make the start if go for it so transitioned into run gear. Onto bike past ATM and hit entries with 5min to the start. No que of course at that point and just post code enpough to get me entered as their system has the rest. Walk to start and off, super. Legs pretty tired so made suree to hold back and only opened up for last km or so. New route this year, even to within a km of our house. Good fun and really glad I made the effort.also happy felt easy and enjoyable.

After getting stuck in traffic due to road works almost missed start even though had over an hour to spare when left. Thus planned food stop missed and fell into start In mad rush not having eaten. No strength so just went out for a training run. Got thrown at 7 due to lack of N/S lines on map????who leaves those off? Had been using side of map and didn't notice I was now using the top edge. After that was just irritated so jogged it out. Got stuck in detour due to more road works on way home so no brainer not to go to other runs.

Visit to the coolest trail running shop on way back...scarabee in valkenswaard, well worth it!

Road Run 40:08 [3] 8.5 km (4:43 / km)
shoes: Asics gel nimbus 14 grey

Finally a lunch break again. US wider model shoes seem to be way more comfy. Injury monitor: Groin, right knee tendon both fine but still letting me know they are there. New addition, left foot - should go away. Appointment scheduled with sports doc, try again to get diagnosis and treatment. Bit late for Dolomiti unfort but will see how it goes.
