put out controls for the meet this weekend. Not sure why, but I used most of the available controls, so a fair amount of them in the woods now. AQI pretty unfavorable, so postponing any other outdoor activity for today.

Main activity today was a trip to New Haven to meet up with Charles Jr, who wanted to have pizza at the famous Sally's. Turned into a long excursion, partly because of the traffic he ran into getting there, partly because Wooster St in New Haven was being resurfaced and Sally's was the only one of the iconic pizza joints that was open, so a bit of a line. The pizza was good, nice visit with Charles, but a lot of work. Air quality quite grim, not ameliorated by the proximity to fresh asphalt.

I had 7 mushroom logs soaking for 3 days, swapped them out and stood them up. I would think I'd have mushrooms in 4 or 5 days. Meanwhile, one of the unsoaked logs delivered two very nice volunteers, which will become part of supper.
