A couple of hours in the smaller clear cut. Zack cut some trees that were broken or bent over and left me the clean up. In the process of limbing and dragging I found an area that was choked with grape vines, so spent a lot of time on that, too. Pretty tiring.

In McLean GR with Rhonda. This is part of a plan. Get her comfortable enough with finding her way around this loop that she can walk it while I run the 5.25 mile loop and finish at about the same time. So maybe one or two more of these walks and we can give it a try.

Note

The rest of the clean-up of the downed trees in the clear cut. Also found a single rather robust barberry, so pulled it out the best I could. A bit of the root snapped off, so not 100% sure it won't be back, but I'll keep an eye out for it.
