Hike 37:00 [3] 2.5 mi (14:48 / mi)
slept:8.0 weight:164.6lbs shoes: 2012 Hoka Stinsons

Off to walk the Bunker Hill-Hanson loop with Rhonda, but back was very tight, toe a bit sore, and when Zack stopped by in the car I hopped in.

Note

George's limber 11 series. I have been doing a lot of this without particularly giving it a name. Certainly it's a good idea. I think twice a day would be about right, but that would be quite a commitment.

Rowing Machine 8:53 [3] 2.0 km (4:27 / km)

Back tender, not much enthusiasm. Glad I hadn't planned on more.

Note

Looked over the splits analysis from yesterday. Interesting that I was as slow as I was even on the legs I felt like I executed well. Thought I lost a lot more than 2:15 on 14, but the analysis said I lost :52 on 18 when I felt like I was doing just fine. It is really hard for me to make any kind of pace. My own internal barometer of poor navigation was that I had lost about 6 on #2 and about 5 each on 9 and 14. Didn't think much about loss on 7, which was mostly just slow and awkward climbing over things, and on 18. Maybe I lost time there because I was going around the marshes. Were the fast guys stomping right through? Makes sense that it might have been faster to go straight, if wetter and colder. Even my best split (17) was only a 7th, and that deserves an asterisk because I had gone by there on my way to 9.
