Felt pretty pathetic running this race. Didn't read the map in enough detail at the start so mucked around at number 2 for a fair while. After that mistake the rest was pretty average. Didn't manage to establish any flow and my running pace was average.

Up. Calves were ridiculously tight during this. Didn't manage a warm down.

Just a massive stretching session before an afternoon nap. Was planning on a 45 minute tempo run but was so incredibly sore from yesterday that I gave it a miss. Perhaps tomorrow I'll get out again.

First run post Europe. Was great to get out on such a warm day. Wasn't planning to run for that long, particularly with the cold that I am getting over, but got lost in some of the streets and had a bit of trouble finding my way back to the main roads. This has been the longest training run I've completed all year which is huge motivation to get back into training for the Aus Champs :)
