1. Mathematiker OL Zürich
my study-friends organised thi for us as a wedfing present.
We had to find controls in the city and in the Zürichberg. They really expected us to run!
It included trams, a cablecar and elevators. Everything - including the refreshment control and dinner - was related to southamerica somehow. Fun!

Night-O. Was late, and never really got into orienteering-mood. The terrain was very green, did not like it too much.

Lunch run along the Rhein. It was the first time since WMOC, that I went running without big "pushing-out-of-the-door" efforts.

After some analyzing, I'm not so sure, if yesterdays race was really better than Saturday.
Had a bad start, then the middle part was a bit better, and some more mistakes in the end. Did not make any big mistakes (11 was quite big), but was more or less ziggzagging around during the whole course instead of orienteering.
1) searched way too early
2) came out to the road too much to the left, and in the control circle headed through the brambles up the small hill, because I thought this was the object (what are control descriptions for?)
3) again a bad way out from number 2
4) Don't know about the route choice. Went up to the border of the forbidden area and followed it till the small path ended in a yellow.
Had no concept to reach the control point from my attack point - and in fact I even couldn't make up the attack point for sure. So I was very slow, because I tried to relocate while running in the right direction. That this did not end up in a bigger mistake was a "lucky punch".
5) good (easy path-running)
6) went down and up again, but could run on the paths - good
7) too much road-running: made a detour and too much climb for coming a bit closer to the control
8) good (first up then down this time)
9/10) could not make an overlap between map and terrain - ziggzagging in the right direction to finally hit the controls
11) down and up the small path - there I hit a control, but not mine - it had been the wrong path
12) 10 m climb too much and a detour
13 to finish) Never had found a flow in this race, and therefore didn't feel confident. So no more mistakes, but many stops.

Fazit: with my mental performance, I have not deserved the 11th place. Was lucky, that it did not result in bigger search actions ... ;-)
