orienteering race 1:06:09 [4] **** 7.4 km (8:56 / km) +125m 8:15 / km
spiked:9/16c shoes: VJ integrator

Long Champs. My foot is still a bit swollen, and hurts at some moves, but with a good tape and good warmed up, I didn't feel anything during the race. I'm really happy - before the sprint yesterday, I didn't have in mind starting today.
To the race: made 7 mistakes (>=30'') and still was happy with my race.
Perhaps, I'm happy too early?
- 4: too much to the left, felt a bit lost in the green, and didn't have a concept, which direction to go - luckily took the wright direction - 30''
- 8: compas! Too much to the left and relocated at the small depression - 30''
- 10: concept? Relocated at the marked route, leading from the control to the mandatory street-crossing - 30''
- 11: Came to a control on a path, which I interpreted wrong. When I came to the "real" path, noticed the mistake, but didn't know exactely where I was - 90''
- 14: saw a runner from my category running in the wrong direction after no. 13 - and followed her. Realised it at the crossing - 30''
- 15: took the best route (at least I think so, having a good intermediate time despite searching the control). Didn't take enough time preparing the control-area, and circled around a bit - 60''
- 16: couldn't make out the details (white/yellow, ditches) on the map - even standing there and looking at the map for a few seconds. Run down in a few curves until I saw the marking to the finish. 30''

orienteering race 13:32 [5] *** 2.0 km (6:46 / km) +31m 6:17 / km
spiked:12/13c shoes: Asics Kayano

Sprint Champs. Made a good tape for my hurted foot, and could run well. So all I loose is a few bad route choices (probabely 1, 2, 3, 7, 11 - all together maximal 30 seconds), one stupid 10sec mistake to 13, and besides that: speed

running warm up/down 25:00 [1] 3.5 km (7:09 / km)

Note

I don't think, its a good thing, that my ankle is used to "damage". But there is one good thing about it: its hurting not too long. So I hope, that I can jog the sprint on Saturday. And perhaps I can bike to the long champs to do anything on sunday.

City sprint in Thun

orienteering race 30:00 [2] 3.1 km (9:41 / km) +80m 8:34 / km
shoes: Asics Kayano

City-Sprint in Thun. Ideal training for the sprint swiss champs next saturday. At least thought so when deciding to go to Thun.
Turned out to be a bad idea, because I spread my ankle. Running down some stairs, I didn't see that "after" the stairs, there were more - really long and flat - stairs, and landed on the edge of one step.
So: 1-3=sprint
4-finish: jogging
