2nd national event: Chomberg. Forest with steep slopes and very wet and slippery parts. On the whole it was less bad than I had expected.
1-3: ok
4: 25m down and up again: straight would have been the answer (45'')
5: a bit lost in the green and had to go back (30'')
6: Control in the light green, so I didn't want to cross the line to what I thought was the dark green - where the control happened to bee. (2'30'')
7: ok - this is not really a route choice. One had to run along the path'. If anyone had the idea to go straigh and make extra 75m hight, this cost him/her a lot of time
8: Felt like searching for 5 minutes. In fact it was only 2', and a lot people lost much more. On the map, the control is on the changing line from white to dark green. The control stood in the middle of the dark green - and I could not see a change of vegetation there. Bad mistake from the map drawer. (2')
9-13: ok
14: 180° wrong away from nr. 13 (10m down and up again) (1'30'')
and then took the wrong route (1')
15-finish: ok
8'15'' in total: way too much for such a forest

Running around in the forest and watching people orienteering - and searching. Tried to watch Rahela orienteering, but I didn't want to run fast, and had not learned her course at heart correctly. So ended up waiting at a control, where she would not come by.

I don't feel in shape. Just too much work, and not being at work, I cannot stop thinking about it. Not very healthy. Try to stop this.

Suhrentaler, Suhrhard
Bought footrests, and run with it. It feels good, and I don't think there is a possibility to spread my ankle wearing it.
My speed was not very good. Don't know, if it was because I cannot go faster, or because I had to watch my steps carefully, because the foot is not yet 100% ok.
For the forest being quite easy, I made too many mistakes. Less mistakes wouldn't have given a different ranking though ;-)

Tough working week. Came home Thursday at 11pm and went out again at 6 on Friday. So very tired yesterday evening.
Tomorrow I'll try to run again - hope, the foot is ok.
