Running warm up/down 36:00 [3]

Warm up, warm down and some drills.

Running intervals 16:00 [3]

Short mona session at Walka. Felt pretty average during the warm up but I'm relatively happy with how this went! First time I've comfortably made it back past where I started. Maybe the floats should've been a bit faster but I rarely feel ok when I'm trying to run fast so I'm ok with it.

Running 34:19 [3]

Nice jog with mum in Newcastle, who originally said she didn't care what she did or how far it was and then decided she wanted to go up to the top of king edward park... Felt pretty good on the way up but my quads had pulled up a bit sore from something and didn't enjoy the jolting on the way down.

Running 49:15 [3]

At walka. Pretty warm and humid already! Legs didn't feel quite as fresh as i had hoped... Enjoyed it.

Running 15:00 [3]

Drills after the run. Added a few to my repertoire after i saw my shadow when i was running and noticed how much of a fool i look.

Strength + Conditioning 45:00 [3]

Not planned but it was either i do this or spend 45min in Maitland somewhere doing uni work in the dark. 10min on the rower and then some core and arms and back and glutes work. Did enjoy!

Strength + Conditioning 1:00:00 [3]
(rest day)

Apparently every first Tuesday of the month is a beginners yoga class so I gave it a go. It was fun but I'll probably only be going once a month with my skills...

Orienteering 1:31:18 [3]

Not enough swear words in the world to explain this run. First two controls (which was the first half of the course when you only have 8 of them) need to go in the forget-they-ever happened bank or I may never mentally recover. Ugh.
Can at least be glad that I resisted temptation to stop I suppose. Managed to kind of get it together for the rest of the course and redeem myself ever so slightly in the navigation department. A bit off the pace still but not surprised seeing how cranky/frustrated/stressed/sad/stupid I was feeling.
