Running 31:38 [3]

Spent the day canoeing and swimming in a gorge which was just so brilliant. Then Anna Mary and myself went for a short jog around the little town We're staying before dinner. Another amazing day!

Orienteering 53:16 [3]

We're staying at Ulyses and went to a map near Sisteron for a course. So so so cool! A tonne of contours and there wasn't a heap of vegetation. Toughest part almost was getting up and down the gullys because the ground was all little stones. Think my navigation was pretty alright once I figured running on the ridges was the best way

Orienteering 32:50 [3]

Then after a swim in Sisteron we had a run around with the sprint map. Running around a castle and then in the tiny streets in the town, so cool!!! Plus after this we went for a walk up a mountain for the sunset. Such a brilliant day.

Strength + Conditioning 10:00 [3]

Note

Spent the day walking and biking around London which was nice! But legitimately no time for any kind of training today, and probably the next two days too because we're continuing the trip to France.

Running 48:11 [3]

Lovely run with Mary and Brodie around some of the peaks near Sheffield. Easy pace but a fairly decent bit of climb for it to feel enough of an effort on my still kinda-tired and very stiff legs.

Strength + Conditioning 10:00 [3]

The four of us are doing the ab challenge again this month. Up to day 10!

Note

The road trip has begun! Went for a walk up Cairngorm mountain after our first night of 'yolo' camping close by. Good stretch out of the legs before our first big drive.

I don't have quite enough memory or time to write up about every event, but Scotland was pretty awesome. In summary i think my orienteering has probably gotten worse, and by the end of the week i was just a bit mentally exhausted and making so many stupid mistakes. I loved it still and definitely have all the motivation in the world which made it really frustrating when i just couldn't focus at all and was going constantly really really badly. Feeling pretty crap about it but pretty keen for a bit of a break now to relax and just do some runs in some really cool places.
