Orienteering race (NOL 1 - Sprint Relay) 13:47 [3]

Super nervous for first leg but pretty happy with how it went! Took a different route on number one and then had no idea where i was position wise figured that i had already gone different so i may aswell completely do my own thing. Was super worried id lost it all in the last open running sections though. Exciting result!! Go team!!

Orienteering race (NOL 2 - Sprint Qual) 17:36 [3]

Was not at all how i expected! And my legs had no idea how to move through the sand! Lost about 50 seconds on number 3 because i got lazy with my exit direction, didnt take the time to find the path and then really struggled to push my way through some green. Overran the path out of number 6 a bit so lost some time there too. Not the most brilliant run, i dont think i adjusted my technique enough after the mornings race maybe...

Park Series #2. Super fun courses at Hunter River High. Lost a bit of time on a few of my route choices, i thought i had made bad decisions when i was out there but stuck to the whole 'make a decision and go with it' thing. Would've definitely saved a bit of time on one leg if i had changed my route after i realised though, oh well. Felt like my mind was a little slow at the start but then my legs were a little slow at the end. Unfortunately my foot didnt feel very good when i finished and in the warm down... Iced it when i got home but it's kind of just like an achy pain and i can find the spots when i push it. Think ill stay of it as much as i can tomorrow and it should be okkkk.

Running intervals 48:37 [3]

15min warm up to a field in Ashtonfield.

Short intervals session: 2x 100m, 200m, 400m, 200m, 100m w/30sec recoveries. Pushed hard and it was actually quite a tough little session, but also turns out the field wasn't as flat as i recalled so i think that had a bit of an impact. No idea how they thought it was fair for us to play touch football there it's on such a lean! Had a bit of a struggle with my breathing again, just hoping it's not that i'm on the verge of getting a cold.

10min warm down. Josh had a boost for me when i got home :') Makes me feel even worse for locking him out of the house for like 90 mins yesterday...

Easy little jog from home. Stopped half way to stretch my calves. Got a little bit of pain on the outside of my foot and the back of my heel, I could feel it standing at work last night but not too sure what it is...

Running long 1:27:53 [3]

Went to the MTBO event. 10 min jog to the start and then a 75min score course that i was a bit late back on. The map wasn't mapped for foot-o so unfortunately not as much of a chance for some orienteering legs so it ended up being more of a run on dirt tracks with a bit of terrain in there aswell. Some of the bush was really nice to run through! Some of the white was a bit green though and some of the green was verrry green. Really struggled after about 55min into the score course, i didn't carry water like all the people on bikes and i just got a bit too hot and felt like i couldn't get enough air in.
