Running 10:00 [2]

Orienteering 1:07:00 [4]

For some reason I had decided I wanted to run a leg in the mens relay... this seemed like a good idea in the evening, but less of a good idea at 2 am in the cold of the night. Decent team, but not too fast, so my 4th leg was definitely in the light.
Course was much harder than the course for the 1/2 legs of the womens relay... much more going straight through green, and a few more technical controls. A few other women out there, and some older men. Did not embarrass my team, and even picked up a few places (they did not change the names in the team and I was andreas sundstroms replacement... in the vasterĂ¥s team full of 18 year old guys).

Running 30:00 [2]

Warm up, and warm down with Emma

Orienteering 42:13 [4]

First leg of Venla - I was not trampled, but should have perhaps pushed harder at the beginning in the anticipation of it slowing down after we got to the start control... then it was rather a lot of lineups of women running in ruts. It was also easier than I expected navigation wise, with only the first few controls being a little challenging, then they ran us back around the side of the map mostly avoiding the technical hill near the arena.

Orienteering 50:00 [3]

Running on a training map with Emma, started pissing on us right at the end (and we were a bit late back since I made a stupid parallel mistake, climbing too much)

Running 33:00 [3]

Late evening run with Thomas around the neighbourhood (mostly frognerparken)

Running 35:00 [2]

To start following the group, and back from the start with Emma getting lost...

Orienteering 50:00 [4]

5 orienteering loops around the top of a hill, anders had put out controls and it was really nice. One quadrant of the hill I kept having problems with... not being at quite the right height on the side of the hill. 1-2 minutes rest between each before picking the next map.

Note

I have a date to try not to be trampled by several hundred other women:

Running 10:00 [2]

Run with Emma to start

Orienteering 52:00 [3]

Felt like I was handed a map after the end of yesterdays event, and told I had to run another 5k... slow like a slug, particularly felt the legs on the uphills.
