Orienteering race at rice lake, fun course! Lost a bit of time when I was not careful to plan ahead and would leave the control in the simplest, but not most optimal for the route choice, direction. Feeling a bit under the weather at the beginning, but better about halfway through.
Run with Nate, Ed and Patrick S from Grouse to Deep cove. Not quite the same route as last time, as Ed wanted to follow the iron knee course a bit more... the uphill section under the powerline is much less enjoyable than the baden powel. Ran over to where Ed had parked his car at the end.
Biking to WET, then home from cheap mexican food after!

Fun Dogbones exercise by Andy. Think I joined them pretty well. Made one mistake when I was running along a road trying to read ahead, and ran past where I was supposed to turn in... also very muddy, and I found a mud patch that happened to be very deep (up to the knee on one leg and splat forward)!
Mixed group at club run, so we went to central park and did the exercise things along the running route, then did some intervals around the pond.

Run down along wreck beach, tide was high so it was hard to stay dry so I ran in the shallow water a bit (it was pissing rain so the rest of me was wet anyway). On the main part of the beach I found a marshy looking section and ran through it, but unfortunately it was not very marshy because the sand content was quite high just below the surface. Scared some herons and ducks...
