Running warm up/down 5:00 [2]

Orienteering 17:04 [5]

Setup race at Robert burnaby, the new map makes all the difference... now I actually will enjoy training here. Good course with route choice at the beginning, then control picking near the end.

Running warm up/down 5:00 [3]

Orienteering 18:15 [5]

Chase race at Central park. Lots of fun, since it was pretty complicated with lots of change of direction and shorter route choices. Made a mistake on the way to number 2, running slightly past the rough open section as I did not see the lake, then turning around. Also really botched number 11, losing about 30s. Should have recognized the well mapped fallen tree, but was not holding my map at the right angle and got confused...

Putting out pinflags for the dogbones

Orienteering 15:00 [4]

Starts exercise with christophe R and ian. Lots of fun! on one I made a 180 error and the two boys followed me for about 20s until I turned around.

Running 14:00 [2]

Jogging/walking between the starts

Running 14:22 [5]

Fun course set by meghan in robert burnaby park. I am not sure I took the best route on all, hesitated about the options going to 2-3. And possibly should have taken the left route around the ravine going to 10 (like carol said).

Orienteering 27:00 [4]

8:08 - oterval
5:36 - rest/walk
5:10 - oterval
4:48 - rest/walk
7:15 - oterval
5:17 - rest/walk
6:46 - oterval
Ran the A fork, with Trish running the B and Sue K on the C. Reasonably even, never had to wait too long (and on the last one where mine was more significantly longer I was the last person to get in)

Running 16:00 [2]

rests for o-tervals

Orienteering 14:33 [4]

Partner training with Carol at Confederation. Fun exercise! felt like I have not seen carol in awhile :)

Running 5:00 [2]

Mini warm up after getting out of class and heading straight to the sprint to run as the last person as the sun was low on the horizon.

Orienteering 15:31 [5]

Throat felt phlegmy and constricted, did not feel like it was my navigating that restricted me at all, and usually read at least one leg ahead. Mostly held back by my cardiovascular system. A few small bobbles, probably loosing only 15 seconds or so total. Should have gone right on 9, and then right again around the small building to 10. Also, likely should not have bothered going into the buildings earlier on 14, and just gone around more.

Stretching/exercises 2:00 [1]

Squats and leg lifts

Running 10:00 [2]

Run over to acadia. Still kinda phlegmy, but throat was not as sore this morning.

Orienteering 27:00 [3]

Putting out pin flags for the warm up training at Acadia. Hopefully some are still there tomorrow. Some kid kept asking what I was doing. I tried to explain showing him the map, but he really did not get it. So then I just said it was like a easter egg hunt where you have a map showing you were the eggs were hidden. He still told me he did not understand. I told him maybe he would understand when he was older, and he then told me he was 5. I told him scientific studies said he might understand more when he was a few years older ;)

Stretching/exercises 3:00 [2]

Some squats and leg lifts
