6, 2min intervals up the hill, pushed hard, cause there were some other runners there, and marta was near me. Also did running exercises, and sprints with strength.

5.9 mile, so not quite 10k. Kept up to my brother till the very end... i think i will be a looonnngg hard slog to improve my time from this point, i am just not fast. I also do not really know how to push myself in a race like this.

richmond flatlands 10k, i think i started out too slow... i have to learn to pace myself better...

right after the richmond flatlands, so i was rather sluggish, made one very stupid error on the way to #6.

turkey trot 10 k.... mmmm running in an orienteering race is so much less monotonous, i felt ok... not fast, not slow... its was kinda fun, especially after i had finished....
wished i had improved more... but heh, i can peak at 30 ish, got 10 years to go.

wet, on a nice map, i have only been on once before, so reasonaby challenging. Was suprisingly untired from the 10k and ran well.

wet, quite wet, made a bad route choice where i had to hop a fence, and ended up faced with brambles... which i had to skirt around.

warm up run, about 20 mins, then 5 min warm down back home

8 times across the field (about a 20 second sprint) with 20 seconds rest in between.

setup for gvoc champs... made about 2 mins of mistakes, specifically on #5... and the 1st, and 4th.

the chase. Started out with less than a minute interval between mc, and erica and i. I was first, but erica right behind. Saw mc at the 1st control, as she had taken the better way around. then lost her eventually. Then saw her again when she was looking for #8 and i #9.... but came back first. Pretty good race other than #9.
