Note

Can't even put my trainers on.
11 AM

Running warm up/down 2:50 [2] 0.5 km (5:40 / km)
shoes: Supras

Run with Martin to the start.

Orienteering race (Esher Commons) 1:03:28 [3] 7.2 km (8:49 / km) +75m 8:23 / km
shoes: Supras

Very slow start, I was stuck behind some guy but couldn't be bothered to overtake because I wasn't into the map at all and knew I had potential to overshoot everything. By #3 I had fathomed out what map reading was again but then totally overshot #5 even using the hide as an attackpoint. I then continued to try to overshoot the next few. No mistakes then for a while probably because I was shuffling rather than running, until 15 where I think I just ran past it and then after 19 where I fell in a bog. The sun was right in my eyes which I think made me feel really sick and then my compeeds got wet and my ridiculous blisters killed. Went too short at 20 and ambled in to the finish. Not a good run but it was nice to be out in some terrain. I agree with Jar and think 17 (202) was too far south.

Running 39:32 [4] 5.0 mi (7:54 / mi)
shoes: Asics GT 2170 new

Run along the canal fuelled by stress energy. Boy did I need it. Back a bit sore and slight hip niggle. Must do core exercises and must stop just saying it. I'm really noticing it in my posture and running style.
