Hockey 1:15:00 [3]

first time properly bck at hockey and it was really good. mostly high inst stuff, 2 on 2, squares and then a game to finish off. last time next week before i move away :( knee felt very good, abit stiff to start with but so much better than usual.

Note

went to see the physio again today. good news really, all lined up now so no problems there. then some massage and acupuncture and taping. new exercises and stregth stuff. she told me to run 3 times a week for 15-20 mins which is better than once. then she watched me runnin and everything good there :)

was at port bann with hollie so we went for a run along the beach and in to the rocks, really to test out my knee and see how it wet. it was fine for the first 15, then we sat down for a bit to look at the sea and then managed 10 after that, then had to walk the rest of the way back. really fustrating but it is getting better every slowely. i've decided not to run the JHI's as i simply won't be able to finish both days fully. it's a gutter but i'm going to rest up for the JIRC's and see what happens :(

hollie was running but knee didn't feel so gd so just cycled beside her, was ok when she was jogging but spent most of the time wlking as feeling sick so hard to go slow enough.

went with hollie, did 32 lengths mix of strokes, then hollie got bored so we did some races and then left. was fun but rather hard work, felt good tho.

thought i'd try the knee out, see how things are progressing, mannaged 10 good mins wihtout any pain then started to get sore, ran for a little longer but decided there wasn't much point on pushing it. found it's better going faster? maybe running style changes slightly then?? doin't know but but def more work need but def improving

family cycle round the moor and water works.

went to the physio again today, she strapped it up and said that with a good 2 weeks rest i should be goood! got stetches and massaging to do and strength stuff! really happy!!

thought i'd go down to hockey just to see how everyone was and see how the team was looking like for next year! did the warm up and then afew passing drills but then knee started to feel abit funny so stopped and just watched the rest of the time!
