Orienteering 1:30:00 [4] **

sprint training in stirling town and bridge of alan, just some exercises and then 3 short courses! jase was plannign, was very nice :)

Note

played tennis or a bout an hour before our swim, was too hot to start with but got coller and was really good, realised how bad i've become, need to get practicing with jen when she gets back!

after tennis me and anna went for a weee swim, though my arm would hold out but did like 2 lenghts and couldn't do any more, annoying but oh well! had fun, not seen anna and ben in ages!

oww then deans 50's ceilidh, man that was a workout in itself, well exhausted after that!

training on benanich?/? not sure how you spell it, where the scottish night champs was this year. just did a short course, went really well except for some boulder problems amongst the rocks. was hot so good ww training

3 sets of trains, on southern half of inchmarnoch. first one was gd second challenging as so many rock features and third on very gd all round

down hill practice on inch again. practicing contouring and dropping into controls from the top

since course all down hill had to get to the top to start with!

Orienteering race 54:00 [5] 6.0 km (9:00 / km) +150m 8:00 / km

JUKOLA- venla

was awsome!! haze went out first, then hollie, me and mhairi last!
had an ok time in th forest, went out at the bak of a small pack about 150th, so hard to tell if your catching people as loads of people just wandering about. only made one small mistake maybe a min but got myself sorted. came in 136th or something. mhairi had a beastie run and we ended up 98 :-)

long legs on solvata again. ant drove us to the other side of the area and we did the boys night course in the day. went well except for on boulder which i coldn't find.

3 loops with haze and hollie, hangin, running and then collecting. not sure how long it was but it was very gd. only one slight problem as i coppied my own loop down wrong so one of the controls was in the wrong place had to wait a while for them to find it. then went for our usual pre training dip in the lake to wash! so cold, brrrrr...

just got the map out and went for a terrain run to get into the way of the map, got abit stuck in some green shit near the lake but the ridges were lovely.

Orienteering 30:00 [3]

arrived at the hut to what can only really be decribed as very remote. had to drive up this track then ark the ar and walk 400m metres in to the forest. a weird hut, not shower or toilet but a very large sauna hut! was lovely, ryt on the solvata map, i think it was called that..

me hollie and haze just went for was run with the map to cek things out, see what the loh was like and stuff

Sol at teviothead. was a really nice course except for the first 3 control which kinda put me off. need to learn not to!! felt really gd on the top of the hill, technically gd no real mistakes. i hate ferns!

inter area relay, pretty much a sprint round some paths. was ok except no1 where lost about 30 secs and one other route choice error.

down to the castle arond the course and back. was well planned really have to read descriptions to make sure on ryt side of walls and stuff.

went for circuits but steve didn't appear so me hollie and kirstin just did a wee sesson ourselves. did some jumps and then some flexo stuff. then some core work to finish

cycle with hollie and jess to cammo, was a bit scary but gd. saw some mahussive house up the back baide this gold course, they were rediculous grande.

Running 40:00 [2]

hanging contrls with hollie and then collcting. also had to speedy run this course to try find 6 lost kids. i didn't find them but luckly some one else did :)

not really sure how far it was altogether

went to the gym with hollie again as decided to come to ed for a few days. met steve wh is really nice and he showed me stuff to do, watched hollie and then did it myself. did like quats and lunges and someother stuff with the wieghts.
