Running warm up/down 25:00 [3]
shoes: Icebugs

15min warm up and about 10min warm down...the warm down was just too cold and so wet...not fun :(

Orienteering race 1:30:22 [5]

Oceania Long Distance Champs...
ran W21E...not a very good race...a few mistakes at #2 and #3...then a huge mistake at #9.. :( if you watch the GPS, I just totally didn't see it, so then got so confused for ages and did a huge mistake! :(
Was so cold and wet too, so I managed to get rather sick after the course :(

Duncan and I put out controls on a training map for the schools team...
we took ages to put them out as the map was really dodgy and we had a bit of trouble...was a good jog around though...can't wait to run...

found planking rather hard today... :/

15min warm up and 15min warm down...felt pretty bad on both :(

3x1km with 3min recoveries...felt pretty crappy today :/ lots of niggling pains and had such a sore stomach :( so not a very good session...taking it easy the next 2 days, so that will be good :)

10x300m with 1min recoveries...these recoveries were so short!!
I was getting so tired...My hamstrings were so sore... It was so good having Laura there as I got a bit slow on 2 of the reps in the middle, then i decided i need to keep doing them fast, and I did :) Was so nice to do it all in the daylight too :D yay!
Foot wasnt too bad when doing intervals...bit sore later in the night though...

just a little after my run...did the press up set in my strength training programme and did 3x10 abb wheel roll outs, and some clam/leg exercises

after i did a lot of stretching for about 1/2 hr or so

Ran with Duncan to Western Springs and looped around the park a lot and then back home...
Saw an elephant! :D
Felt pretty good today..bit slow up hills...felt a lil sick in the last 10min for some weird reason though :S
Arch was really sore today :/ Cant wait for my new running shoes to arrive! these ones are sooo fingered!!

Long run today...
went up mt eden, through epsom campus, up and around one tree hill, back past st cuths, then up mt hobson, through newmarket and looped around the domain and then home....
so i did a lot of hills today which was good :) ran with duncans garmin again which was fun..paced myself really well! didnt even get that tired...felt awesome at the end :) took a leppin at halfway as i knew i may need it today...not sure if i did or not...oh well...
I guess i am happy with my pace as i was going up quite a few hills for a bit of it
