Orienteering 1:14:00 [2]

Today my meander around part of the course was with Kris. I was a bit confused by a control that was hung low in a depression but had a fun time out in the woods. Tough drive back. Beautiful clear skies from Ohio to London (the Ontario one) and then blizzard the rest of the way home!

Orienteering 58:00 [2]

I was worried about my knees if I tried to race the course so Courtney and I went for a wander of the last 10 controls. Lovely day to be out in the woods with good company. So proud of the arxers. They all have accomplished a lot (even if it might not always feel like it)

Note

We went to Jungle Jim's (a huge and strange grocery store/tourist attraction in Hamilton, Ohio).

I challenged the ARXers to buy the weirdest thing they could find for less than a dollar. Noah came out on top with his grass jelly drink

Orienteering race 31:41 [3]

Flying pig sprint in Hamilton Ohio. Knee was very not happy after a week of chasing ARXers and the long drive this morning. Race was OK. I enjoyed the area and trued to take straight routes through the foresty bits. I was a bit confused at the start. I didn't realise that there wasn't a remote start triangle and had run by my turn before I caught on. Doh!

Really proud of all the arxers. They were definitely representing!
