Ran the 2019 Northerns course on Wharncliffe. Forgot how physical the area was! Just taking it pretty chill and had a few issues identifying which boulder was the control on in the circle along with a few issues of being in the wrong place.

Joined Hallamshire session of 6x500 (300m jog ~3min).

Absolute downpour but nice to be back on the track and with a group.

Didn't warm up enough so a bit steady on the first couple but got into it nicely after that.

86.0, 85.0, 84.0, 82.3, 80.8, 83.0.

Last one was solo and was starting to struggle. Good to see I have some speed hanging around after a lot of steady running.

Reran first two legs of 2015 Spook Relays at the Edge. Good fun, trying to be more focused today and was fairly successful. Not being particularly aggressive though. A few seconds quicker than in 2015 but did long arm a few controls to avoid people.

Similar to the classic Elle session but did the 30s as 15s out turn on the spot (punch imaginary control) and 15s back to try and get some acceleration and agility going. Also instead of 10 just did two laps of triangle.

Took the first tempo pretty chill and was glad as the turnarounds were tough. Calves ruined but otherwise feeling relatively okay.

Edale Skyline (mostly) from Hope with Liam and Peter. Nice to catch up and do a long run in the fells. Been a long time since I've run for 2hrs +.

Moving at a respectable pace the whole way and just a bit of a struggle on the way up and down Win at the end. Weather held out pretty well, drizzly enough to keep the masses away but never really got cold or too wet.

Raised my Ben Connor spotting yesterday for an OJ today.
