Fun explore on the possum lines in the bush. Variable effort for that section due to rough terrain and hard route finding so cut off a fair bit of the time.

4x7(90).

Very windy and not really with at after a golf ball dropped about 1m away from me on the first rep. Some people using the park to practice golf drives. Fair enough if you are just chipping it about but these guys were about 200m away and I didn't see them before nearly getting hit.

Anyway took me a rep to remember what I was doing. Do feel I kept it to threshold or below at least this week, even if not intentionally.

Boulder hill via Kelson (failed trig find at 4.3k) then back along the edge of the farm.
Grind for first 45min uphill+headwind. Then flying back, a bit too fast at times probably and think I will pay for it tomorrow.

Some OJ inspired trig hunting. Using this database.

They are not quite as aesthetically pleasing as in the UK in both their build and positioning. Tried to get 4 and lapped my watch at each one.

1) In a train station in the middle of town. Never found it.

2) Up this bush track and couldn't see it. Laura found a knoll and turned around then I went there and it was in brambles about 1m away. Picture on my Strava, not too obvious!

3) Never found and 4) was obvious. I find it weird they are all about 80m up a 250m slope and very few at the top.

Looking forward to some more satisfying UK ones on return.

Run was of mixed pace depending if Laura was biking or running.
