Mile high quarantine spider fail.

Aim was to try and do unique out and backs from the house and finish at local maxima or minima so not taking the piss and doing a long 10k undulating run out and back.

I didn't do any calculations just what seemed aesthetically pleasing and similar time from previous efforts. I think the downfall was due to it being so much slower to gain elevation on roads so 3 hours wasn't enough. Also I was feeling pretty slow.

I think it is more thank what AP says. Strava says 1314 but still a long way off.

Was fun in a strange way anyway. Did the road ones first so when I was knackered I was in the steep rough bush so felt legit to walk.

Had about 500ml of water and one small square of Kendal mint cake. Forgot the crucial item that was Vaseline. Bit uncomfortable in last hour.

The splits look good but I was deep into the red on the last two reps. Need to start slower next time.

Map memory round a park nearby. Had to be stationary when looking at the map and also a 15s penalty per look. I only looked three times. Start, just before 6 and just before 11 for a 19 control course.
Never ran that hard though to preserve memory.
