Getting out the frustrations of the need to tape the outside of bends but not the inside!!

Scottish Unis XC 6th.

Fun race on a nice course. Sprint at the start for 30m then everyone sort of stopped so slowly moved to front then everyone sprinted up the hill and quickly it seemed we escaped into a pack of about 8 at the front. I generally sat near the back.

In 2nd lap a few slowly went off the front and then the group was about 4th-8th with Sasha 10m in front. I tried to keep the pace and push on flats and steep downs.

Eventually left with another Harie and Ross the Shettleston guy. Unfortunately didn't seem to have the fight or the speed and finished 6th. On about 12sec down on Sasha in 3rd.

Another okay performance. Would obviously like to be doing better but hopefully another hard block and i'll be moving better off at East Districts. Should be good enough for Inter-Districts at least though.

WU/WD on trace to and from gym.

Treadhill session with Jack. Trying to be slightly sensible with my hamstring issue. Recreate the classic 6x1k(90sec) with 6x3min(90) on 12km/h@12% which is an AP adjusted of just over 3min/km.

Felt tough but I have generally sucked at uphills. Felt weird training with someone else on neighbouring treadmills but think it made it a bit easier. Maybe ...
