Long run in Moorfoots with Peter. Turned out to be quite rough in places but also some snow and ice and scary windfarms and some nicer running down to Gladhouse. Died a bit in the last 30min. Perfect day for it though.

Aim to set off fast and see what I could hold. Felt pretty bad and was very surprised first k was so quick. Then just got stuck at 3:10. Had Laura to pace me on the final 2k which was nice.

I left my house and 25min later got to the gym. I made it five metres out the door and realised there was a fire somewhere cause it stank. It was in one of the big rubbish bins. So called the fire brigade and then ran upstairs to get some water. By the time I got back outside it had burned through the top of the bin and was huge so I just stood back and watched till the fireman arrived.
Very exciting.
One guy in a hoodie just walked past it very nonchalantly considering there was a massive fire. He is my prime suspect.

First time I have called the emergency services legitimately (Being locked out of Peter's house being the only other time).

4x500m (Massive recovery) @disgustingly painful pace was the aim of the session.
81,83,83,83. Not too shabby. Managed to hold form pretty well. Excited for my summer track season coming up.
Then over to Dean's village.

FWTN at Dean's. A wonderful area but everything is so small I could barely read it. Along with not the best printing and circles and lines everywhere I just got a bit bored/fed up and plodded round and took a detour to WoL on last leg.
Shame as the courses were challenging and well planned.

4x8(90) with EUOC. Feeling good and mostly off the front due to others hanging from last night. Tried to cruise the tailwind and then push on when we turned and hit a pretty stiff headwind.
